How we work

Services

Services we deliver

Software engineering comes first. Design, SEO and marketing are there for clients who want a single team accountable for the whole product.

  1. Custom Software DevelopmentWe build software around the processes your business already runs on, so operations no longer depend on spreadsheets, workarounds and tools never built for your workflow.
  2. Web Application DevelopmentWe build the logged-in side of your product, including dashboards, portals and workflow tools that handle real data volume, permissions and concurrent users.
  3. Mobile App DevelopmentWe build native and cross-platform mobile apps, handle App Store and Play Store submission, and design for the offline gaps and device permissions a phone has to cope with.
  4. SaaS DevelopmentWe build multi-tenant SaaS products around tenant isolation, subscription billing and self-serve onboarding, architected to scale beyond your first cohort of customers.
  5. AI DevelopmentWe build the AI itself, covering retrieval systems over your data, agents that act on it, and models tuned and evaluated against your own cases.
  6. ERP DevelopmentWe build the operations backbone that runs inventory, procurement, finance and production, either as a custom system or as an extension of Odoo or Dynamics 365.
  7. CRM DevelopmentWe build the system that follows a customer from first contact to renewal, as a custom CRM or as an extension of Salesforce, HubSpot or Dynamics.
  8. E-commerce DevelopmentShopify and WooCommerce storefronts, headless commerce front ends and custom checkout flows, all shaped to your catalog, pricing and fulfillment setup.

Process

How a project moves to launch

Six stages, the same on every project, so the next step and the next deliverable are never a surprise.

  1. Discovery

We map goals, users, limits and every system the software must talk to.

  2. Estimate

You get scope, budget range, timeline and team in writing.

  3. Design

You sign off user flows and screens before any code is written.

  4. Build

Work runs in two-week sprints that each finish with a demo.

  5. Launch

Testing, sign-off on staging, the release and live monitoring.

  6. Support

Upkeep, upgrades and planning the next set of features.

Why teams choose us

Promises you can check

What every project gets from us, and the weekly evidence that lets you verify it.

  • The engineers you meet do the build

Whoever joins your first call stays on to write the code. Nobody hands your project down to a junior team once the contract is signed.

  • Your accounts hold the code from day one

Source code, infrastructure and documentation sit in accounts you control. Ending the engagement needs no handover, since everything is already yours.

  • Something to click every second week

Every sprint closes with working software you can try yourself and a short written note on progress, risks and the decisions we need from you.

  • Estimates that show their working

Each estimate spells out what is in scope, what is out, and which open questions could change the figure, which makes vendor comparisons fair.

What you see every week

A written update, a reviewable pull request, a sprint board and a staging link you can click through yourself. The cards below are illustrations of the format, with no real client data.

  • Example
    weekly-update.mdWeek 14

    Progress

Checkout flow, payment webhook and the staging deploy for Build 214 are complete.

    Risks

The inventory sync API enforces a rate limit; we are designing a queue around it.

    Decisions needed

Confirm the return-policy copy for the checkout page.

  • Example
    Add multi-currency pricing to checkout

    feature/multi-currency → main · #214

Standards we design and build to

None of these is a certification or attestation held by this agency. They are the standards we design and build client systems to, so your own audit or assessment starts from a sound base.

  • GDPR / UK GDPR
  • HIPAA safeguards
  • PCI DSS scope reduction
  • SOC 2 readiness
  • WCAG 2.2 AA
  • OWASP ASVS

We list certifications only when they are real and current. See our security practices →

Team

Who works on your project

A senior engineer leads every project, with the roles below added to match the scope. You meet the people who would do the work before anything is signed.

  • Engineering lead

A senior engineer who scopes the work with you, owns the architecture and stays on the project from discovery to launch.

  • Full-stack engineers

Build the product sprint by sprint, open every change as a reviewed pull request and demo working software every two weeks.

  • Product designer

Turns goals into flows and interface designs you approve before build, and keeps the design system consistent as features grow.

  • QA engineer

Writes the test plan, automates the regression checks and signs off each release on staging before it reaches your users.

  • Cloud and DevOps engineer

Sets up environments, CI/CD, monitoring and backups in accounts you own, so releases are routine rather than risky.

  • Delivery manager

Runs the sprint rhythm, sends the weekly written update and makes sure decisions you need to take reach you early.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask us

Who owns the code and intellectual property?

You own it. Our standard contract transfers all IP to you on payment, and the repository lives under your organisation from day one, so ownership never waits on an end-of-project handover.

Will you sign an NDA before we share project details?

Yes. We sign your NDA, or send ours, before discovery begins. Most clients start with a short brief and share the detailed material once the NDA is signed.

How do you work across time zones?

At kickoff we fix a daily overlap window within your business hours for calls and quick decisions. The rest happens in writing through tickets, pull requests and a weekly update, so progress continues while you are offline.

Can you take over a project another team started?

Yes. A short audit of the code and infrastructure comes first, followed by a written assessment of what to keep, what to fix first and what stabilising it will cost before new features begin.

Which engagement models do you offer?

Three: fixed-scope phases when the work is well defined, a dedicated team billed monthly for continuous product work, and a maintenance retainer for live systems. The pricing page compares them.

Have something to build?

Send a short description of the project. A senior engineer reads each request and answers with questions, next steps and an early budget range.
